International Women’s Association of Central Asia
Since 2016, we have been expanding a platform for the practical support of women’s leadership, scaling initiatives, and integrating the voice of Central Asian women into global agendas.
The Association brings together entrepreneurs, scholars, cultural leaders, and public figures from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan.
Our mission
To advance equal opportunities and broaden women’s participation in the economy, politics, and public life through education, mentorship, partnerships, and advocacy at the national and international levels.
We are convinced that strong, economically independent, and socially protected women are a driver of sustainable development and stability.
Areas of work
- Priority areas of international cooperation:
EAEU, CIS, SCO, BRICS, UNESCO, UN and other platforms for sustainable development.
- On the Steering Committee of:
the A20 Anti-Corruption Coalition, the WAGE gender coalition, and the IWACA Noosphere Alliance.
- Health and social protection:
campaigns for the early diagnosis of women’s diseases, programmes supporting maternity and child health, prevention, and cooperation with clinics and international partners.
- Legal protection and gender policy:
analysis, monitoring, recommendations for authorities, legal aid, and support programmes for survivors of gender-based violence.
- Academic, educational, and cultural programmes:
partnerships with universities and research centres, educational exchanges, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
- Leadership and talent development:
mentorship, training in management, public speaking, and networking, and the advancement of women in public and business life.
